Spare 2

Reggae night In lincoln

Fun package, take a Marantz to a reggae night in Lincoln, presenters “ we are here at” talk to local artists

This log was only our first draft we had many meeting over the weeks leading up to the show to refine it.

We have quickly found out that we are not able to get the steel drum band because the wont respond to our attempts to contact them.

We have decided that we needed to take out the songs because we have to much content for the show. Instead we have decided to do a song of the week on our blog check out the main page to see the list.

We have managed to get a package for our show sorted. We are off to Nottingham and will have some content up on the blog soon from our trip

Here is a clip from when we went to visit Marvin Brown in his studio in Nottingham.

We have also managed to get a great package with a fantastic performer called Rastarella Falade. As well as this we have been able to confirm a live song with Lisa Hendricks. We will round of the show with this and have leeway on the length of the interview.

We have managed to find a local reggae night in Lincoln so we are going to have the promoter and organiser in to chat on the show, Ben Vinter. Because of this we are moving one of our spare features to the live show.

We have decided to make a package on the history of reggae to set up our show. This is to give the show a better structure and so that people can understand and get to grips with the subject better before we go into more detail.

Started editing down all of the packages for the show. We have also decided to get a few vox pops from the street but we haven’t decided if we are going to use them in the show yet. Not long to go!

As you can see we have change our plans a lot. The day of the show is almost upon us and this is our final draft for our shows running order and times
